Comfort Inn Conroe

I was hoping this would be a good stay, but the room had roaches. When I told the front desk, the response was, “We’re fully booked,” with no sympathy. The manager offered another room around noon the next day. We packed up and moved, and at first it seemed clear, but in the middle of the night I spotted another roach by the nightstand. I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but this put an end to that. Avoid this place unless you’re fine with bugs, or want to take a collection home. The sheets were poor quality and left me waking up sweaty. At first the hotel looked nice, with free breakfast and lemon water in the lobby. But the water made my bottle smell funky. Does anyone clean that dispenser, or is it supposed to ferment for flavor? That’s just one thing I might have put up with for a while. And if suspicious lemons and indifferent staff are your thing, more power to you.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were delicious. There’s plenty to do and see nearby, and the area felt very safe. I especially loved the pool at the Orel Comfort Suite, which was a great place to relax. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want a fun, relaxing visit 🥳👏🏻

After ten hours of driving on our second day, we stayed here, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The employees were lovely, especially with my 7 year old, who was offered a free gift from the treasure chest. The hotel was spotless, from the moment we walked in, and the decor was classy. It even smelled really nice when I entered. The previous day, after driving ten hours from West Virginia, we’d stopped at a Hilton. That was awful: no breakfast, a bad smell, a disgusting room, and not even free coffee. We won’t go back. This Comfort Inn was so much better. If you’re in the area and don’t want to spend a fortune, choose this one. You get a lot more for less than at a Hilton. I can’t think of a single bad thing to say. I’d change the rating from 2 to 5 myself!

My room was tidy, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and on top of things. I had an awesome stay and would definitely come back.
