Hampton Inn & Suites Conroe - I-45 North

The first room I was assigned clearly hadn’t been cleaned: the bed was unmade, there was trash in the bins, and the TV was on. I went downstairs and got a different room. The next morning, I found there wasn’t a hair dryer in it. At 8:30 AM, the “hot” water at the coffee and tea station downstairs wasn’t even lukewarm.

The service and breakfast were very good, and it’s a nice-looking hotel. The room itself, though, was old-fashioned and outdated, which isn’t my style. I stayed five days and paid almost $800, so I expected something a little swankier. That’s just my opinion.

The location was great and the room was okay. The women at the front desk were amazing. Alexandria did a fantastic job answering my questions and handling my concerns. She was wonderful.

We booked a room for my wife through a third party a week ahead, but when she arrived that night, they’d given it away and said they were overbooked. The receptionist wasn’t helpful and said we had to get the refund through the third party. Then the third party had to contact the hotel to get the refund. It was a poor experience, especially since it was late and finding somewhere else to stay wasn’t easy.
