The lobby was clean and breakfast was decent, which is why this gets two stars. The room was gross, and I’m embarrassed we slept there. Under the pullout sofa in the living room was basically a trash can. The tub had rust stains inside and out; every seat was stained, and the bathroom door had what looked like boogers smeared on it. In the bedroom, the lampshades were stained, there was a mysterious white powder on the floor beside the nightstand, and the mattresses had stains too. We’ve stayed in motels cleaner than this. It’s certainly not worth the rating it currently has.

We waited 10-15 minutes for the front desk lady. When someone else came over to try to help, she was rude, accused my guardian of doing something wrong, and refused to let us check in. She made no effort to solve the problem, never offered a refund for the room she wouldn’t let us use, and didn’t even ask what we needed when she walked up. She just looked at us menacingly. Terrible customer service. You’d be better off at Hilton or Home2 Suites down the road. If I could give zero out of five, I would. Don’t book here.

The room was clean and conveniently located, and cost a little less than nearby motels. But noise from upstairs and outside the window was very disruptive, and the sound insulation was poor. If getting restful sleep isn’t a priority, it could be a fine choice.

Like the other reviews we read, we’d had a long day of travel and were too tired to switch rooms. As soon as we opened the door, there was a dirty-feet, dirty-carpet smell throughout. Such a turnoff. I raised it with the person at the front desk, who said that with the building and furniture’s age, it was as clean as it gets. The chair and ottoman were so stained and smelly that we didn’t even sit on them. Room 105 needs serious attention. Maybe the owners should use some of their profits to update the whole place.
