The Inn at Solaire

The wine bar was lovely, but I wouldn't recommend staying overnight at the Inn. Housekeeping was the biggest problem: there are no do-not-disturb signs, and staff walked into my sister-in-law and her husband's room twice, then nearly entered ours. When they did come in, they only made the bed and changed the towels. They didn't replace coffee or toilet paper, and we ran out at 7 on Sunday morning, before they opened at 10. My sister-in-law checked out at 8 and brought us their spare roll. We had two rooms for the weekend, one for my husband and me and another for my sister-in-law and her husband. In the first hour, a bathroom light switch sparked, leaving both bathrooms without lights until someone from maintenance came to reset a breaker. We waited an hour at the wine bar for that. The shower knob also came off, the door was difficult to lock and unlock, and a washcloth was already smeared with makeup when we arrived. The beds were awful, especially the tiny queen that felt more like a double, with an old spring mattress that sank and an uncomfortable quilt-like blanket. Neither of us slept well, so bring your own pillows and blankets. The rooms also had no mini fridge or microwave. The Inn itself was a letdown for our supposed relaxing getaway.
