The room was small but clean and tidy. The door was hard to close fully and didn’t lock properly, and the air unit was incredibly noisy. The front desk staff I first spoke with were friendly and helpful, but the managers were rude and inconsiderate. I won’t give them any more business. I booked in person because I work night shifts in healthcare and needed a place to sleep during the day due to bad weather. I asked about late checkout and was told I could stay until 4 pm, with a reminder to tell the front desk when I checked in. At check-in I repeated the plan, and was told to check with a manager Monday morning to “make sure that’s still okay.” On Monday, my checkout day, the manager said late checkout would cost $40, a fee nobody had told me about before. She then said I had to leave before noon. After less than three hours of sleep, more than an hour before the checkout time I’d been given, I got a mobile checkout text for 11 am. A few minutes later housekeeping knocked, and less than 10 minutes after that another manager called my room to say checkout time had arrived. My situation was unusual, but the lack of communication among staff and with me caused unnecessary stress and frustration. The female manager that morning was incredibly rude and showed no concern for my circumstances or attempt to ease the stress of a stay I needed.

Everything was just right for my balance and stability needs in the mobility accessible room. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and we had a picture-perfect stay. We’ll definitely come again.

The heating unit was unbelievably loud and kept us awake all night, leaving us with a terrible night’s sleep during a cross-country drive. I’d avoid staying here if you need the heat on. We didn’t try the AC, so I can’t comment on that. The staff heard the noise in our first room and kindly moved us to a second. It seemed quieter at first, but got louder as the night went on. By then it was the middle of the night, and we gave up trying for a third room. They’d said they only had a few dog-friendly rooms, so I doubted there was another one we could switch to. The unit was loud on its own, and became unbearable when the heat kicked in. I wish I could attach a video to show just how bad it was.

Skye at the front desk was VERY friendly and checked me in quickly. The rooms were SUPER clean, quiet, and well lit, with air and heat that worked great. The hotel is centrally located and close to Starbucks, McAllister's, Burger King, Waffle House, Ihop, and plenty of other places to eat. It was quiet throughout, and the grounds were well managed. Other hotels had been suggested to me at twice the price, but I’m so glad I found this one. Thanks for the GREAT service and peaceful stay. I’ll be back.
