The shower was in unacceptable shape: sticky floor, visible dirt and grime, and a tub that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. I also asked at check-in not to be put in a conjoined room, but that request was ignored. Those basics already fell short of what I expect from a Hilton, where I stay often for work because I count on consistency, cleanliness, and service. Breakfast was another major problem. I got there at 8:53 AM, seven minutes before the posted 9:00 AM closing time, and the lights were being shut off, the stations were being packed up, and the waffle station was already gone. I asked for a cup of waffle mix so I could quickly make a waffle before my next work call. They said no and told me the mix was “sour,” which made me wonder about food safety and preparation. If breakfast is advertised through 9:00 AM, it should still be available then. Turning things off early and refusing a simple request during service hours is unacceptable. What bothered me most was the lack of ownership. The response felt nonchalant, with no urgency, effort to fix things, or attempt to recover the experience. I lead teams in a customer-facing business, and that's the opposite of good service recovery. I paid a premium for a Hilton stay and got less than I could have at a lower-tier hotel down the street. This is about standards, accountability, and respect for guests, not just a waffle. I'm extremely disappointed, won't return, and hope leadership takes a serious look at cleanliness, operations, and service culture.

We found this place at the last minute when weather delayed our camping trip to Stone Mountain. It worked out great for all six of us: the suite was comfortable, the rate was good, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel was easy to reach, clean CLEAN, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and more, and there's a great workout room too. A really good family stay for the price.

I came to town for a funeral after a drive of more than seven hours, and the staff showed little understanding. Lisa at the front desk started things off badly. Two of the three of us were charged twice for our rooms, and when we asked to check in just 30 minutes early, we were told there'd be an extra fee. There was no flexibility or compassion. The room problems piled up. One room hadn't been cleaned when we entered. In the other, hot water took almost five minutes to reach the shower, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were nearly empty, as if housekeeping hadn't checked them. Then housekeeping knocked on our doors at 9:30 a.m., even though checkout wasn't until 11:00 a.m., making us feel rushed after a long, emotional trip. I usually choose Home2 Suites and have had good stays, so this was especially disappointing. We got rudeness and poor service when we needed care and professionalism. I wouldn't stay at or recommend this location, and I hope management addresses these problems so future guests are treated with more respect.

I stayed there every weekend for a month. They kept trying to take my electronics out of my room while leaving everything else there. After I complained, they stopped cleaning the room. Good luck reaching a manager about any problems. When I tried, I was told they were there from 10am to 2 pm and wouldn't meet outside those hours to discuss it.

The hotel was generally clean, and housekeeping was really nice. One woman couldn't speak English, but she still gave us wonderful service. Ms. Jadean at the desk also helped a lot and made us feel heard. She explained the $100 accidental fee clearly after another desk clerk had made an unprofessional remark that it wasn't her $100. That clerk also said she needed to get her taser when our group of about ten came in after 6pm on a Friday. My great aunt was offended; she deserved respect as an elder. The same clerk made my uncle feel uncomfortable when he asked for water, asking what he was trying to do, strange for his water, even though he's married. She told my friendly grandfather she wasn't with all that talking when he sat near the desk. My autistic cousin, who is 19 and much smaller than her, often walks around; instead of speaking to us professionally, she said she felt uncomfortable with him in the weight room. We also had room issues. The pullout couch had no sheet, and there was no remote for the front room TV, which we couldn't use during the stay. The clerk said she didn't fix TVs and couldn't do anything. She said the manager was coming in, but I never saw her again, or only caught her going into the back. My sister had issues too, and the night desk clerk didn't resolve any of ours. My uncle had another room I booked where the TV volume didn't work. If not for the night clerk, this would've been a five-star stay. The first time in Georgia, I figured everyone might be the same, so I wish I'd talked to Ms. Jadean sooner. The dogs in the next room barked all day but were fine at night. If that doesn't bother you, it's a good stay for the money.
