The room had nice colors and the AC worked great. It looked like the hotel had been renovated recently, though the room number was written on blue painter’s tape instead of a proper plaque, so maybe the work wasn’t finished. I’m 5'3", and getting onto the unusually high bed took some effort. A step stool would help. We’d reserved for two but had only one towel. That towel was fluffy and very white; the one I got at the desk was much thinner and not as white, like towels used around a hotel pool. There’s no mini fridge either. I was told to check in online and then pick up the key, but had to do the regular desk check-in anyway, so the online step was pointless.

The front desk team made check-in easy and were welcoming and polite. Our room was cozy, with clean sheets and an immaculate bathroom, and the hotel’s recently renovated look gave it a great atmosphere. There’s a grab-and-go breakfast in the morning, and most nearby restaurants are within walking distance since the hotel is right in the middle of everything. I enjoyed my stay and would come back when I’m in town. I’d recommend it.

Breakfast is limited, but handy to grab on the way out: boxed juice, granola bars, fresh fruit, and packaged muffins. I liked the simple decor in both the lobby and the room, and the bathroom felt updated and was well stocked, with a rain bar style drain. My single room was small but just right for one or two travelers. It had a comfortable queen bed, a cute reading nook by the window, and a large TV that was easy to use. The room had been renovated, and everything was clean and comfortable.

I never got to stay because there weren’t any rooms available, even though I’d made a reservation. This was around 2am on August 31. The gentleman at the desk was very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated it. Thank you, sir.
