Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown

Ashley G. at the front desk is a big reason I had such a good stay at Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown. She was welcoming, professional, and kind as soon as I arrived. She handled everything efficiently, but still made me feel valued instead of like just another check-in. Her calm, positive manner helped me settle in. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and enjoys helping guests. She went above and beyond and is a real asset to the hotel. I’d happily stay here again and recommend the location to others. Thanks, Ashley, for making the visit such a good one.

It’s the care people have put into this place that makes it one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at recently for work. I’m not talking about amenities. You can see the effort in the nice style, the outdoor pool being kept warmer than usual, and the RC Cola and moonpie with a flyer about local history. Great job, team.

We needed a comfortable place for three nights, and slept really well the whole time. Hotel Bo is an older budget property, but it’s been remodeled in a really cute way, and it’s very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We’d highly recommend it. We’d arrived around midnight after leaving another nearby Wyndham property that first night.

This was by far my worst experience here, and we probably won’t return. My first visit was great with no problems, but this time the customer service could use guidance or retraining. At check-in everything went fine, although the service skills weren’t great. Later that evening we had a plumbing problem and asked for a plunger. Nobody came, so we handled it ourselves. We asked the head housekeeper to mop the bathroom the next morning and bring towels since ours had been used to clean up. She said she would, but we ended up buying bleach and cleaning it ourselves. We ate in the bar area, but no one explained how the meal process worked. We were charged $73 for four plates of undercooked chicken, served on Styrofoam, at $15 each. Way too much. When I first called to ask about free breakfast, the reservations department said yes, but all that was offered was muffins and coffee. The lobby smelled like old cigarettes, which didn’t fit the “Thanks for not smoking” sign outside. Some office staff were rude, and often nobody was there when we went to ask questions or get help. Does anyone there know what customer service means?
