Super 8 by Wyndham Cooke City Yellowstone Park

I haven’t stayed here yet, but I’m planning to in September. I wanted to tell management that the average and bad reviews saying the place is outdated and the Wi-Fi sucks are exactly why I’m coming. I hope the Wi-Fi does suck and everything is outdated. Why spend a Yellowstone National Park vacation worrying about hotel Wi-Fi? Makes no sense to me. I’m sure it’ll be just fine when I arrive in September!

The owner’s rude responses are enough that I won’t even consider staying at this hotel. I work in hospitality and know how hard dealing with the public can be, but they’ve got a LONG way to go. Horrible.

The location was good, and restaurants were an easy walk, but that was the only upside. Wi-Fi was horrible on several devices, so slow that browsing was nearly impossible, never mind streaming. With no cell signal either, it was more of a problem than usual. The room had no AC. Even with the heater off, the window open all night, and the outside temperature close to freezing, I couldn’t get it below 72. The walls were thin enough that I heard my neighbor snoring all night and flushing the toilet. They need a better early checkout setup, even a key slot. I left my keys on the counter, where anyone could take them, since the counter was gated off and nobody was working.

The floors were disgusting, Wi-Fi didn’t work, the back security door was broken and wide open, and the toilet was already clogged when we arrived. Laundry was out of order, and there was no designated RV parking despite the listing. We paid $300 for a rundown, broken place full of filth. There’s no service in town, so we were counting on the Wi-Fi, but couldn’t even send an email to check in with family. The bedding was gross too, so we had to use our own. Avoid this place at all costs.
