We tried two separate rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, and both were infested with roaches. There were bugs even when we lifted the sheets, and the walls were dirty too. These rooms were nasty and need to be shut down. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to bring critters home.

I booked through booking.com and was really looking forward to the pool, which was still open. Then an unexpected family emergency came up at the last minute, and we couldn't leave our home state. After several conversations with the staff and management about my questions, management understood the situation and waived the early cancellation fee. We didn't get to travel or stay here, but this hotel will definitely be an option for us in the future.

I booked three nights, but as soon as I arrived, I saw four homeless people sitting outside the office door with clothes scattered around them. Two started walking toward my vehicle after I parked. With two babies with me, I didn't feel safe and left. There were dogs roaming loose too, with no owner around and no leash or collar visible. I contacted Hopper to get a refund, but the hotel refused even though they sold the room and kept the money. It's crazy. I've run a hotel, and I know that typically you refund someone who cancels for a serious reason and keep only one night's charge. These people don't care about guest safety or concerns, only money. I found a much better, cheaper place, the Legacy Inn, which was very clean and had very nice staff. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
