The Tesla destination charger was a nice bonus, and it was free, though one of the four chargers was out of order. We found the room comfortable and the staff very kind and helpful. The room price surprised me in a good way for what we got, including great amenities and service. Breakfast costs extra, but buying it with the room ahead of time was worth it. The restaurant is pretty expensive. If you're an IHG member, though, you can spin a wheel for a prize, and one option was a free appetizer. We picked the BBQ chicken wings and they were delicious. The location also makes it easy to get around Yakima. Highly recommend.

The front desk young woman was lovely and very helpful. It was convenient to get to from the freeway, and close to downtown restaurants. I also appreciated the locked parking, since I had skis and a bike in the car. The room was in nice shape.

The gated parking area for vehicles might look a little intimidating, but don't let that put you off. Two staff members made my first trip to Yakima much better than I'd expected: Ed, the bistro mixologist, was top notch, and the night shift front desk guy, I think Johnathan, was polite and respectful. I highly recommend staying here and will return.

The 8th Street bistro at Holiday Inn Yakima is delicious. I had a great stay too, with a comfortable bed, spotless room and bathroom, and welcoming staff. There's also a pool and jacuzzi.

I was there on a business trip and left for work at 3:30 am each morning. There were often people outside the other businesses nearby, and quite a few on bicycles around the alley beside the fenced parking. I had no problems, though. Holiday Inn itself was great, the parking area is fenced and locked, and the front desk staff were fantastic.
