There’s always something going on here, with a packed weekend schedule during the season and live bands last summer. We love our spot. The staff work hard to keep the park beautiful and make everyone feel welcome, and it’s a safe, friendly place to spend time. Even with all the recent talk about seasonal site price changes, it’s still a great value and now in line with other campgrounds nearby. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

The booking fell through because of our own issues, but the owners and employees were wonderful and helped us get our money refunded. They were kind and accommodating. The sites were nice, in a beautiful area near Cooks Forest, and the campground welcomes dogs and other pets. We’re looking forward to coming back! 👍

The workers are what make this place tick. It’s a nice spot to camp, and the price is reasonable compared with other places. A little peace of mind up in the mountains. ☮️

Each street has its own character, thanks in part to the seasonal residents, and the newer section up the hill in back is already getting its own charm from the people who just moved in. This privately owned campground sits right at the edge of Cook Forest. There’s a small, well-stocked camp store, a community building for events, and a playground with a basketball court. The landscaping and decorations are clever, too.

The campground itself is clean, quiet, and friendly, and the playground is great for kids of all ages. Wi-Fi was a big plus when we needed it. The cabin was modern inside, but it didn’t match the website photo: there was no porch or shower, and only two of the four outlets worked. The bathroom sink’s hot and cold water were hooked up the wrong way. Our fire pit and picnic area were shared with the wood they sell and a pile of scraps from chopping it. There’s only one cabin available to rent, though they have two, since a family member lives in the other one. We rented it for a weekend and don’t regret staying, but we probably wouldn’t choose that same cabin again.
