Coon Rapids North Metro Hotel to Norwood Inn & Suites

Liz really made our honeymoon stay special. She was so sweet and went out of her way to help us, and we had a great time thanks to her. One of the other morning employees was snippy when we asked a couple of simple questions, though, and that put a bit of a dent in our stay. She could use some work on her customer service.

We couldn't make the hour-long drive because of the snow headed to the area, even though we'd booked a non-refundable stay. The hotel was really understanding and worked through the situation with us. Thanks again, and I hope we can stay there another time.

The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel, and the bed was decent. The Jacuzzi suite itself was pretty disappointing, though. The bedroom window was stuck open a couple of inches, and with the arctic cold outside, I had to plug it with a blanket. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling. The tub was nice, but the shower was only okay, and the water had just gotten warm by the time I finished. It also took several switches deeper in the room to get the entryway lights on.

The pool water was cold, while the hot tub was hot. There wasn't any hot water in the pool bathroom, and the meeting room tables were dirty. Its garbage cans need cleaning or replacing. The evening staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but several spots in the room needed cosmetic repairs.
