We loved how peaceful the country setting was, even though local attractions were conveniently close. The staff were really helpful, and the views were amazing. Our room had loads of space, a kitchenette, and a balcony. We came for a long weekend anniversary trip and were surprised by how much we enjoyed this place. It has its own character, nothing like a standard hotel. We'd happily come back.

The view was breathtaking, and the location couldn't have been better. The Manager went out of their way to make us comfortable and ensure we had a wonderful stay. I couldn't be happier, and would definitely recommend it.

The people here are what make August Lodge special. Brian and Carl always go out of their way to make our visits memorable. We enjoy the pool and hot tube, and the whole area, including the well-kept rooms, feels peaceful and relaxing. For the last 9 years, we've booked a trip to Cooperstown in early September and stayed here each time. Already looking forward to next year's trip.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a small kitchenette that came in handy for breakfast and snacks. I liked the lodge's rustic, vintage-native style, and the custom-painted doors give each room a charming touch. The views are beautiful, and although I didn't explore much of the grounds, what I saw looked well maintained. The pool was clean, and the fire pit overlooking the rolling hills seemed like a lovely place to unwind in the evening. August Lodge is only a few minutes from downtown, so it was easy to explore Cooperstown and find places to eat nearby. I had a relaxing, enjoyable stay and would absolutely return.

The staff were so kind, polite, and attentive. Our room was clean and had a little kitchenette, and there was space to grill and have a bon fire. The lodge and its views looked stunning both during the day and at night. It was quiet and peaceful while we were there. I'd recommend staying here, and we'll be back next year. Thanks to the staff for being so kind.
