Bayside Inn & Marina

My one complaint was how the front desk put 4 different guests right beside or above each other. With a whole motel offering peaceful views and tranquility, it seemed odd to bunch people together so they could hear one another. Otherwise, it was a nice place. The rooms were nice, the beds comfy, the towels good, and the shower pressure was strong. Coffee at the front desk was good too, and the kids had a nice playroom with arcades.

We had a lovely mother-daughter weekend in a beautiful inn. The place was clean, safe, and quiet, parking was easy, and check-in went smoothly. Our rooms were very clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the staff were friendly. Good coffee, too. It takes about 15 minutes to get anywhere, so plan ahead before heading back for the night. We'll definitely return. Cooperstown is a great town, and the Saturday farmers market is amazing. If you're thinking of staying here, just do it.

They've put on new paint, but the beds were really uncomfortable, with loud metal frames and tiny, cheap pillows. The office people are very rude. Don't stay here. There are lots of better choices in this beautiful area.

That lake view from the room is incredible. The lake and scenery are amazing, and everyone working there was extremely nice, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The Bayside Inn is an older, well-kept hotel with modern updates throughout. We stayed in the main building where the office is. There's no elevator, though the stairs aren't bad. Getting an actual key for the room felt like a throwback. Our room was spacious enough for our family of four, two adults and two kids aged 11-13. The beds were comfortable, the pillows very nice, and the bathroom had a shower-tub combo that my one son loved for taking a bath. We were there for a baseball tournament, so some of our team stayed together. The game room has nostalgic games for someone my age, 40, plus air hockey and a pool table. The parents could sit out one night and hang out while the boys ran around like teenagers, and nobody was upset. One possible downside is the 20-minute drive to the baseball fields, museum, and Main Street. If I'm back in town, I'd definitely stay again. Absolutely recommend it for the hospitality, people, views, and good prices.
