I looked at three rooms before settling on one, and every one had cleanliness problems. In my room, there was pubic hair on the sheets and crumbs scattered around. That’s unacceptable. I also left my cellphone in the bed by accident, called the hotel, and was told someone would call me back. Nobody did. The hygiene and customer service were both poor, and I plan to report the property to the health department.

We checked into room 232 late on May 1st, 2026 and left May 2nd. The bathroom was so dirty, with black hair clogging the tub drain and stains across the floor, that we laid towels down just to brush our teeth. The refrigerator was dirty too, there were marks on the ceiling, and someone had left an old coffee grounds packet in the coffee maker. Our room phone didn’t work either. If it hadn’t been so late, I would have canceled and left. This place is attached to a Super 8 and felt more like a rundown, sketchy motel. Stay away.

We’re leaving in the morning and asked to cancel the rest of our booking, but the desk clerk said we’d have to talk to the manager. The manager never showed up, and the front desk wouldn’t connect us to them despite our repeated calls. The refund process is insane, too. The rooms were the reason: after our flight and a nap, we noticed a strange smell in the bathroom, a filthy shower and tub, water damage on the ceiling, and several lights that didn’t work. I’m sensitive to mold, so that was especially concerning. The clerk offered another room, and I’m glad we checked before taking it. Its door was left slightly open, dirty sheets were inside, the bathroom was unclean, and the room ceiling was damaged. It was supposed to have two queen beds, but a whole mattress was missing. Absolutely atrocious conditions and unhelpful staff.

The area is quiet and the location is good. That’s about it. It’s a Super 8 building operating under the Baymount name, with the same management and front desk. The rooms are just okay, but the bedding is a disaster. The bathroom had been cleaned, though it was moldy and badly in need of renovation. Paint was peeling off the jetted tub and it looked bad. The night was quiet on a workweek.
