Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort

We had a small room, but it was adequate, and the beds were more comfortable than at other Fairfield hotels we’ve stayed in. The shower pressure was surprisingly good, especially for California. From our room, which faced D L, we watched the fireworks at an awkward angle. It took about 10 minutes to walk to DL security, so coming back for a nap midday was convenient. There’s also a Panera by the hotel parking lot, handy for breakfast before an early park day. My husband and I stayed here during a Disneyland visit. Check-in was straightforward, and the room was ready on time. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We only had our rental car for a few days, so it wasn’t a problem not to be charged a parking fee for the whole stay. We’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were okay, though not very spacious, and when we had a problem the front desk took care of it right away. The pool was full of kids and smelled like chlorine. There are vending and ice machines on every floor, plus laundry in the lobby and a water dispenser with regular and alkaline water. The hotel has photo areas too. It’s family friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway. Disneyland is right across the street, about an eight-minute walk to either park. The convenience made it easy to take a break at the hotel and head back without worrying about the car. Parking costs $30 per day for hotel guests or $45 if you’re parking without a room. There are lots of nearby food options, from small markets and places to sit and eat to fast food, all within walking distance. I recommend this location.

We stay here on about 8 out of 10 visits to Disneyland and highly recommend it. It’s a little farther out, but the price and service make the short walk worthwhile. The rooms are large and clean, with two queen beds and a single sleeper that can fit five people. There aren’t separate bedrooms, though they do have connecting rooms and junior suites. The staff are always friendly, parking is easy, and the valet staff are attentive. Our room has always been ready, sometimes even a bit early, which really helps after a long drive.

The staff were so kind to my daughters, especially when they wanted to pin trade, and they went out of their way for our family. They put us all on the same floor and left a small birthday gift for my oldest, which made her feel really special. When my youngest got stung by a wasp, they gave her a stuffed toy and some ear to help her feel better. We had a great stay, and this will be our first choice for our next Disney trip.
