The room was clean, but there was nowhere to put clothes since it had no dresser, and there wasn’t an extra blanket. The listing said rooms would be serviced daily, but mine wasn’t, so when the tissues were gone, that was that. Breakfast was self-serve and pretty meager. The firehouse alarm going off in the middle of the night on most nights was the real highlight, a true “My Cousin Vinny” experience.

Loved the decor and architecture, and the price was great. Check-in and checkout were easy, and it was quiet. Beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

We needed to get into the room early to leave our luggage and change for a memorial service, and I appreciated that they accommodated us. The room was very nice, with a modern but classic feel. Being right downtown meant hearing cars and trucks peeling out all night, though there weren’t any police sirens. There were fireworks too on 6/21.

I love staying here. It’s my favorite hotel in the whole world, seriously. The old house has been lovingly renovated, the rooms are lovely, and the decor is fantastic. It’s fairly priced, and the coffee’s good too. I recommend it without hesitation. Just be sure to book, since they’re sometimes sold out!

The Pert House team was easy to reach and very responsive. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and really clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was in a lovely, well stocked area with the basics for a quick bite. A gem in downtown Potsdam. Highly recommend!
