The Sebastian - Vail

The pool area was even better than the one across the street at the Four Seasons, which we usually stay at. The heated pool was actually warm, and the hot tubs and gym were great too. The Sebastian is beautiful and well maintained, in a hard-to-beat spot within walking distance of lots of places and close to the bus stop. For the price, I'd pick it again. Our room was very nice, the beds were so comfortable, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Room service was great, and we got a complimentary charcuterie board when we arrived. The only letdown was the coffee maker at the complimentary coffee station being out of order on our second morning. I'd love to see a working one there along with a couple of milk options. That station matters to me more than you might expect. I don't understand the low reviews, we had a great stay.

The rooms were comfortable, with great views, and the location is ideal. After a long ski day, the spa is a nice extra, and the hot tubs have plenty of space without feeling crowded. There are cozy places to sit and hang out throughout the thoughtfully arranged lobby. The bar's vibe is lively but not chaotic, with great drinks and live music. What really set The Sebastian – Vail apart for me was the incredibly friendly, on-the-ball service. Whatever you need, they seem to be on it, including taking skis and boots straight down to Base Camp. If you're headed to Vail and want an easy, elevated stay, I can't recommend it enough.

I'm very particular about neatness, and this hotel exceeded what I expected. Everyone was welcoming and caring, and the service was amazing. It's also super kid friendly. What an amazing experience, I can't recommend this place enough.

The Sebastian is centrally located, an easy walk from shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the public spaces and pool deck were kept beautiful and inviting. Our spacious room had excellent beds, quality linen, and made for great sleep. There was a complimentary soft drink in the fridge, restocked daily, plus tea and coffee facilities and a lovely selection of Molton Brown bathroom amenities. The room itself was comfortable, though the small windows made it dark and there wasn't a view. We noticed some minor wear, but the hotel was clean, spacious, and very well maintained overall. We were there as part of a wedding party and didn't get to try the food. We'll definitely return to Vail, and The Sebastian will be our first choice again.
