Cactus Inn and Suites

I was here for a month, paying $60 a day, then the rate suddenly dropped to $55 and I didn't say anything. The front desk woman is the worst, very bitter, and you end up walking on eggshells around her until you can't take the attitude anymore. The maintenance guy also acts like he's the boss. There were roaches, and my ceiling leaked. They said it was fixed, but after another storm my belongings were damaged. I'm taking them to court now. I wouldn't stay here.

The remodel and new beds have made a real difference, and we appreciate the improvements. This is an older hotel, but Todd and Tom keep the place clean and in good shape. Even when they're busy, they're friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to look after our construction crews. They're the reason our company keeps returning and why it feels like home each time. Ownership, please know that. We'll be back next week.

We told the staff our dog was a trained service animal, but they still tried to charge us an extra fee. Service animals aren't pets and can't legally be charged an additional fee under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). When we explained that, the response was dismissive and showed they didn't understand federal law. We were shocked and disappointed by how we were treated. This was discriminatory and unacceptable. Until staff are trained on ADA compliance and accommodating disabled guests, I'd strongly advise people to stay elsewhere.

The rooms have been getting cleaner, and they're making progress on the bathroom maintenance. After my daughter and I developed a nasty cough, I had to clean the AC filters myself. I wish they offered some kind of living assistance for people dealing with domestic violence or homelessness, or single moms just trying to earn money and get by every day.
