There’s a substantial refundable deposit they ask for when you arrive. The place is clean, apart from termite droppings! The street is nice, but guest parking is on another street, usually out in the sun.

Booked through booking.com? Be aware they’ll ask you to upload your ID and credit card details to a third party site, plus pay a $500 deposit. None of that was disclosed when I booked. When I asked what it was about, they offered an “alternative”: pay another non-refundable $80 on top of the full booking and they wouldn’t charge the $500. That feels like a very scam-like business practice.

The house is lovely, and the area in Coral Gables is very quiet. Guests can use the laundry room.
