Hyatt Regency Coral Gables

We’d happily come back, especially since it’s dog friendly, which is a big plus for us. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful throughout our stay. It’s not by the beach, but the neighborhood is lovely and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Having the parking garage connected to the hotel was convenient. Breakfast was just okay, and I’m not sure I’d pay full price for the buffet, even though the staff there were very nice.

We return almost every year, and each visit has been consistently excellent. As longtime Globalist members, we appreciate being recognized with a nice room upgrade and a welcome amenity each time. Those touches make us feel valued and remembered. The staff are welcoming, professional, and attentive from check-in through checkout. The historic building is beautiful, full of lasting charm, and impeccably maintained. It’s officially a Category 4 hotel, but the service, facilities, and attention to detail can match or even exceed many Category 5 properties in major cities. It’s outstanding value without a drop in quality. We keep coming back because they get it right, and I’d especially recommend it to loyal guests who appreciate consistent hospitality and a well-preserved historic setting.

My fiancé stayed here for a work event, and I called the managers and staff with a couple of ideas to make his visit extra special. They said yes and went beyond what I’d asked for. After a two-week cruise, my family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff and customer service were exceptional. It’s also a great spot for walking to lots of restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trips to the area.
