Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Coral Springs

The hotel itself is nice, but the evening at the Bistro is what made my work trip feel pleasant. Joel Rowan and his partner were great at the bar. The chicken quesadilla was perfect, and you could tell Joel put a lot of love into making it. He bartended too and kept checking that I had what I needed. I followed it with the wings, which also tasted like they’d been made with care. Joel’s partner stepped in then and did a wonderful job as well.

The hotel is nice, but the staff put me off returning. Muhammad was the worst Marriott associate I’ve dealt with in all my years of traveling. I’m grateful to Alexander from reservations for helping us sort out our reservation issue, since Muhammad and the hotel staff were awful. I’d stay somewhere else.

In room 210, there were ants on the countertops, a black strip of mold in front of the bathtub, and the light by the main entrance didn’t work. I reported it to the front desk, and when I got back to the room, the bleach smell was nauseating. They said management would contact me, but I’ve heard nothing. I emailed the general manager over two weeks ago and am still waiting for a reply.

Maria helped me get a last-minute reservation this weekend for my daughter, and I’m so grateful. Alyssa was amazing when we stayed in October, too. The people here are kind and helpful. One of the best places I’ve stayed.
