We arrived around 3 am for a last-minute stay, with family flying in for my sister's surprise bachelorette weekend, so we felt stuck. The apartment smelled awful, like mold and cigarettes, despite the no-smoking rule. I didn't realize how bad things were until morning. After rain, the parking lot looked like all the cars were sitting in a pool, and nobody had warned us the place was in a flood zone. The bathrooms were filthy. The main one had what looked like dried blood on the wall, door and light switch. There was mold in the master bathroom, and the bed was broken. You can see my brother trying to fix it in the photos. The closet ceiling in the room with the double bed was moldy too. Floors and kitchen were dirty, and the dining table still had burnt incense left by a previous guest. We bought candles and Clorox wipes just to manage, and showered with our shoes on. This “Lowki” place was misleading and absolutely not worth what I paid. I have pictures of everything and plan to report it to OSHA and whoever else I need to. I can see now why it was so cheap. Do not stay here unless you're okay with filth.

I had to check out soon after arriving and find another place at much higher cost. My planned long-term stay was ruined, along with a lot of time and peace of mind. I took photos of the problems and contacted both the property and Booking.com right away. The apartment was in no condition to stay in: serious hygiene problems, visible damage, signs of moisture and mold, and no proper maintenance. It didn't meet even basic accommodation standards. The listing photos and description gave a drastically different impression. If it had been presented honestly, I never would have booked it. This property shouldn't be offered to guests in its current state. I'd strongly advise future travelers to avoid it until major improvements are made.

Karen and Jessica are wonderful. Whenever I ask for something, they're ready to help, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always clean. I've stayed here with my family several times, and they always go above and beyond.

The rooms are clean and cool, and the place feels homey. The building could use a little facelift, though. This is my second stay, and it was even better than the first. Karen is who I always communicate with, and she makes sure everything goes well. The location is excellent, close to everything, with the beach just over the bridge and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

The pool area wasn't clean, and a group of guests were allowed to smoke weed and party loudly all day and night. It made the pool uncomfortable to use, and this didn't feel family friendly. If you do book, I'd use Airbnb instead of the website. Extending a stay through Airbnb was straightforward at the same rate, but when I tried to add a day directly, I was charged more than the listed rate and they ignored my request to match the price for new guests. Booking direct also meant filling out a cumbersome registration form and uploading what felt like excessive documents before check-in. The website might save a few dollars, but there's little incentive for them to address issues when you can't leave a review.
