Home2 Suites Iowa City Coralville

My favorite detail was the bathroom having lots of hooks and towel bars. It sounds silly, but most hotels only give you one hook, which just doesn’t cut it. The whole place was clean, from the room and halls to the elevator and lobby, and the staff were courteous. Even with the hotel busy, breakfast was stocked, and there were options at 9:30 on Saturday. The eggs were real, cooked over hard. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely book again.

This was my second stay, and I’d come back again. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a little better than at some hotels. It’s close to the expressway but far enough away that traffic wasn’t noisy. A train did pass a couple of times.

Friendly staff and a good value, but the room, especially the bathroom, felt kind of gross. There were big stains on the mattress that showed through the sheet. It was tolerable, though I’d look elsewhere if I wanted a cleaner stay.

Check-in was fast and easy, and the front desk team were really kind, welcoming, and professional. They made sure I had what I needed, and the friendly atmosphere made this a great stay. I’d definitely return to Home2 Suites by Hilton.
