The staff were wonderful, and having maps and suggestions for places to visit was really helpful. We had our own two bedroom cabin for two nights. It was spotless and had plenty of towels, pillows, linens, and ceiling fans. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and gadgets we could need. When we ran low on tp, the front desk brought more right over. Having coffee on the front porch in the morning was lovely. We’d definitely return.

The property and Lodge are beautiful, and the Lodge itself is really cool. I’d guess the separate cabins are nicer than the motel rooms. We chose this because we wanted a cheap getaway, but room 7 wasn’t well prepared for guests. The place smelled funky when we arrived, the windows were open, and the room was freezing on a chilly weekend. The heater was loud and barely worked. Its thermostat seemed broken, switching on for a second at a time once it thought the room had reached the set temperature. We had to set it 10 degrees above what we wanted just to get it to run longer, and it only warmed the area right beside it. The bed was comfortable, and most of the room was clean, but the rocking chair was very worn. The TV remote was filthy, though I had wipes with me, and the towels had bits of debris on them, maybe from the sill or the open window. I shook them off, but I wasn’t sure the sheets had been changed between guests. Breakfast was just okay. The hash browns were practically raw, and the replacement batch came after we’d finished and were ready to go. They were nearly tasteless anyway. The coffee was decent. We usually camp, so rustic surroundings don’t bother us, but the room didn’t feel ready for the next guests. I can’t tell if that’s a housekeeping or management problem, but it needs attention. I’d rate the room and breakfast around 2.5 stars, and a few small fixes could improve that. The Lodge and property get 5.

The bar made great drinks, and the staff were really good. Our room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful rustic decor, and we loved staying here. We were in the Lodge and would come back, but sound carries from downstairs and starts early. For a quieter stay, I’d suggest renting one of the cabins.

The employees were kind and helpful throughout, especially Marjorie and Andrea in the office, who were always there to answer questions. Our studio cabin had a full kitchen and bath, plus a queen bed, and was very comfortable. It’s 8 miles from the west entrance to Glacier Park, around a 7-8 minute drive. We’d definitely stay again.

From check-in with Brett to the time we left, we felt so welcome. Brett was enthusiastic about helping us find things to do, and Kimber was friendly and gave great service. We stayed just one night and wished it could have been a week. The cabins and location were lovely, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Try the floral coffee or drink if you stay, both were delicious.
