Motel 6 Corbin, KY

The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and everyone we dealt with was kind and helpful. We hit a deer and needed somewhere to spend the night before exchanging our rental the next morning. After a wrestling event in the area, most places were full, so I called ahead. The man who checked us in was kind and understanding, and had one room left for me, my toddler, my older son, and his girlfriend. It was a handicapped room, but it worked perfectly since I have trouble standing in the shower. The couple who run the place were amazing too. My toddler had missed Halloween while we were driving to my brother's wedding, and they gave him a little bucket of snacks. They were very accommodating while we waited for Enterprise to send a Lyft or Uber, but there weren't any in the area and Enterprise kept giving us the runaround, so we finally called a cab to sort out the car. I highly recommend staying here if you want clean rooms, kind people, and comfortable beds.

The location was fairly central and worked for what I needed, and the service was fine. The room looked updated and seemed mostly clean, though the locks felt questionable and the air was damp. There wasn't breakfast, a hair dryer, or shampoo and conditioner in the room, but they offer the latter at the desk.

The room was huge and really clean. We had a great stay and will keep this place in mind for future trips.

We booked two nights but left after one because the place was deplorable. People appeared to be tweaking in the lobby in the morning. The rooms looked modern but smelled awful, and the bedding had cigarette burns. Hallway electrical panels were padlocked with wiring exposed. The shower caulking was black, and the ceilings were stained. When we asked for a refund for the second night, we were told, “sorry, you booked online.” If smelly rooms, poor amenities, and people using drugs around the property are your thing, this place may suit you.
