Best Western Colonial Inn

I travel five days a week, and whenever I’m near Cordele, this is where I stay. Food, convenience stores, and pretty much whatever you might need are within walking distance, and the staff are friendly and really attentive. At 6pm they put out fresh cookies, which are actually delicious. I try to grab two each time, haha. The breakfast is huge and so yummy, they really go all out. The rooms are nice. I saw a review calling them a little outdated, and I can see what they meant, but to me they’re on par with or better than the Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, and the other places around here. The showers are hot too. It’s my favorite hotel and, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Cordele. You can’t really go wrong here. For reference, my photos show the 1 King Room. The lobby was nicely decorated, the breakfast had lots of choices, and our room was super clean. When we arrived, they gave us a snack and bottles of water. The people were the friendliest we’ve met, and Poo Bear and the other ladies were amazing. We loved that Southern hospitality and will make this our stop every year on the way to Florida. We’re Canadians and arrived on December 23rd, 2025, after driving 17 hours to Georgia. We’ve traveled all over the US for 10 years and stayed in plenty of places, but this Best Western was by far the best one we’ve ever been in. Awesome experience.

Those fresh chocolate chip cookies at 6 pm are worth remembering. I stayed here for business and found it to be a very well-run motel, a cut above the others. My room had a balcony, which was a nice touch. I’ll stay here again.

The staff member I met at breakfast was extremely friendly, and we had a nice conversation. I slept great and found the room clean, with no complaints. I was stopping on my way back from Chattanooga and heading toward Florida. I’ll be coming through again on my motorcycle soon, so I’m going to rebook.
