Desert Inn Motel

It's a motel, so keep your expectations low and you probably won't be disappointed.

The room I stayed in was clean, and the hotel has had recent renovations. The towels, though, were old, gray and worn, and the bed linens were old too. The bedspread had stains and holes burned into it, apparently from smokers. Management should coach the overnight receptionist to treat guests with the same respect he expects for himself. First impressions make a big difference.

The location, right across from Disneyland, is great. But there was no peace or quiet, and I got no sleep. The fridge ran all night, AC units from other rooms were audible, and I could hear the pipes whenever someone showered or used the bathroom. With thin walls, other guests and all the appliances and machinery carried through the night. A waste of money if you need to sleep.

The front desk man was nicer than the staff at other hotels around here, and the rooms are modern, clean, and freshly remodeled. The owners did a great job with the renovation. Between the clean rooms, convenient location, and friendly staff, this is my top choice in the area. Thanks for accommodating us!
