The woman at the desk wouldn't give me her name, but closely questioned my jacket and work details as if she might call my workplace. That felt completely unprofessional. She told me, "I’m not obligated to provide that info. But you, _________ at __________, I’ll certainly remember that." Then she added, "It's nothing personal—strictly business." Please.

After two quiet nights with just my boyfriend and me, the front desk woman showed up at 10:35 AM and said we had to leave by 11. She claimed there was “too much traffic” in our room, though we had barely seen anyone else there. Some third-shift person apparently told her about our “activities.” I was broke and trying to book one more night, and the booking party wouldn't refund me either. We'd picked this place for a little getaway because past stays had been fabulous. This time the desk seemed to be monitoring our room, and I don't understand why. I asked her to check the video footage for the supposed traffic, but she wouldn't. Instead, she cited policies that weren't in my agreement. She also brought up racism and profiling, terms I never used. Maybe she has her own issues to deal with. Just saying. Don't stay here. It's cheap for a reason. The front desk girl needs to check herself before a lawsuit smacks that desk she seems to care about more than human kindness and decency.

Pretty average for the price, neither the best hotel nor the worst. Some bulbs were out, but enough of the others worked to keep the place bright. The showers were nice. The pillows smelled like cigarette smoke, so they didn't seem clean.

Clean place to stay, with quite nice rooms.
