Casa Cipriani New York

The people here make you feel genuinely looked after, from housekeeping and the front desk to the club and especially breakfast service. On my latest two stays, I was reminded why Casa Cip is my favourite New York hotel, after several visits over the past three years. On one visit I landed at 7 AM and went straight to the hotel. They weren't required to give me a room until the afternoon, and I wasn't expecting one earlier, but a kind, professional front desk staff member had me in a room within two hours. She was polite and helpful, and made me feel welcome. The southern tip of Manhattan is a little out of the way, though I like that. New York can feel busy and overwhelming, and here you're close to the action while water surrounds you on three sides. The gym is well equipped, the spa is clean and plentiful, and the food is great. It's a stellar place. A couple of small changes could make it even better. A cold plunge in the spa, in place of one of the showers, would round things out for hotel guests and members. With places like othership in New York, the bar is high. And a tablet for adjusting gym volume or music would help. The gym is usually very empty, and the loud American radio station can be annoying when you're the only one there. That's all I can think of. Thank you.

Check-in was seamless, thanks to the welcoming, attentive staff. The room had lovely city views, tasteful decor, plenty of space, and a comfortable bed. I recently stayed at the Grand Horizon Hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. The room was spotless too.

The rooftop is unmatched, and the private club atmosphere feels special. Casa Cipriani also makes it easy to relax, whether you're listening to live music, having a cocktail at sunset, or simply enjoying the beautiful setting. The dining is incredible, the views are breathtaking, and the rooms and shared spaces feel luxurious yet comfortable. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the elegance, warmth, and attention to detail. The service is flawless, with welcoming, attentive people who make you feel at home. It's perfection from start to finish, an experience I'll never forget. I can't wait to come back.

I had a confirmed booking, but was stopped and treated with suspicion in a way that made me feel singled out for being Asian. It was deeply disappointing and unwelcoming. The service and professionalism fell far short of what Casa Cipriani promises. A luxury hotel and club should lead in hospitality, and guests should be treated with respect whatever their race or background. Being featured in top magazines means little if basic courtesy isn't there. I can't recommend this property in good faith.
