The Bower felt like visiting a local friend, with an intimate atmosphere that's a welcome change from the corporate feel of some nearby hotels. I've always liked boutique hotels for their personal touch, but sometimes the decor and taste fall short. That wasn't the case here. The place is unpretentious yet elevated, with beautiful rooms and all the little comforts. My family of four came for a weekend, and the team made us feel so welcome. They offered sparkling rosé at check-in and put out fresh pastries and delicious coffee in the morning. The rooms had Dyson hairdryers, makeup mirrors, clothes steamers, and plenty of Le Labo products. Dive, the rooftop spot, had excellent food and ambiance. My husband grew up on the island, and we've stayed at most of the nearby hotels while visiting family. The Bower is special. We hope to come back again and again. Thanks to the team for such a warm welcome.

My employer booked The Bower for a team offsite for a few days in October. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms stunning and cozy, and the amenities are great. Everyone on staff was sweet and attentive. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great too. It's an easy walk to plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach, and downtown San Diego isn't far. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town. Thanks for making our stay incredible! 🖤

The Dive rooftop restaurant had great food and views. We stayed with friends and loved the clean, lovely rooms and beautiful bathrooms. The Bower is quaint and luxurious, right across from the main beach. Highly recommend it for a Coronado trip.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and were so kind. The Bower is a short walk from the Del, beaches, and coffee shops. We had an amazing stay and will be back!

The welcome drink at check-in and the sparkling wine waiting in our room were lovely gestures. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. We think they upgraded our room. The Bower Coronado is stunning from the moment you arrive, with beautifully designed rooms and luxurious Le Labo soaps. We borrowed a complimentary beach kit with chairs, towels, and an umbrella for an afternoon at the beach, just a five-minute walk away. The in-room pour-over coffee took a little effort but tasted delicious. Each morning there were ready-made coffee and croissants on our floor. We also enjoyed drinks and good conversations with the bartenders at the rooftop bar. Every interaction with staff felt warm, genuine, and attentive. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The Bower Coronado has the design, thoughtful amenities, and service I'd hope for in a boutique hotel. We can't recommend it highly enough!
