The place was filthy, and the rooms, property, and employees were awful. We were misled by the website photos. We tried to give it a chance, but our room had dirty folded towels, socks under one bed, a dirty washcloth under another, a broken dresser, and a beer can behind a curtain. The outside window screen was torn, and the doors were rotted. When we told the employee, he showed us another room, but that one wasn't clean either. We asked for a refund so we could move to another hotel, and they refused to give us the full amount back. This happened recently, so be aware. The service was the worst I've ever experienced.

The staff were good with customer service, but the hotel isn't worth the price. One elevator was working for all 10 floors, and my room key didn't work. In the room there was a moldy smell. A roach came out of the bathroom vent, and I found another behind the bed.

We checked in last night, and I wanted to cry when I saw the room. The area had drunk homeless people walking around, and I was afraid to unload the car. The stairs reeked of urine. There were unexplained stains all over the outside of the door, and our supposed non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray mixed with mold and mildew. It was filthy. The chairs, sheets, and pillowcases looked really dirty and stained, and I couldn't bring myself to lie down. The carpet was damp, so we had to keep our shoes on. The shower never got hot, even after the water ran for about 15 minutes. We stayed for a graduation near the bank center, but I wish I'd spent the extra $50-60 for a nicer place. This was old, run down, and disgusting. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone except crackheads or homeless people.

The front desk was a mess from the start. I was given one key for a double-bed room booked for two adults, and when I asked for another, the man got angry and said I could leave if I didn't like it. It seemed the owners, a husband and wife, were running the desk. I explained I was on a work trip and the other person needed a key. The woman interrupted and said I could leave or pay $10 for an extra key. They were the rudest, most unprofessional people I've dealt with, and I went to the room already upset. Things got worse once I got there. The room smelled strongly of mold, the AC sounded like a sewing machine being attacked by a blender, and a chair fell apart under me, even though I'm not a heavy person. There was no hot water at all, so I took a freezing shower in a bathroom that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The grout was black, the tub was peeling, and the toilet wasn't secured and swivelled when I sat down. Worst of all, fuzzy little black mold spots covered every wall. There was mold everywhere, even in a crack in the wall. I woke up with a headache and runny nose. In the morning I told the front desk about the mold. The girl rolled her eyes and looked at me like I was stupid. She said she'd tell housekeeping, but I explained it was more than a housekeeping issue. While I was also telling her there was no hot water, she walked away mid-sentence. This place shouldn't be operating. The rooms are health hazards, and $69 a night feels like robbery. Spend the extra money and stay next door.

The pictures online didn't match what we got at all, and everyone in my group of 12 had a horrible stay. There was rust, mold, and dust in plain sight, and the rooms were filthy. The carpets were so gross I couldn't walk barefoot. Six of us got very ill after the stay. The bill was supposed to be $350, but six days after we left The Bayfront Inn, they hit us with an $1,800 charge. That came after what I thought was a reasonable price when I booked. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at. It was vile, they are crooks, and I will never stay there again. Stay away.
