The location made it easy to get to restaurants, shops, and attractions, and housekeeping did a great job. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. It was quiet enough to relax and sleep well. Check-in was quick, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. I had a wonderful stay and would come back. Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, welcoming place.

The staff were kind and quick to respond when we asked for help. The first room, though, was badly cleaned: the bed wasn't made, a dirty towel was hanging behind the bathroom door, and we couldn't easily find the clean ones. I told the front desk, and the manager moved us right away. She was candid that housekeeping had been having problems, and the remodel crew hadn't taken much pride in their work. Room #2 looked better initially, but once we settled in, the floor felt poorly cleaned and there was hair in the shower and bathroom corners that wasn't my wife's. We were only there a couple of nights, traveling with our pup, and decided to put up with it because the location was amenity friendly. Home depot is directly behind the hotel, and apparently they move materials inside from outside at 10pm. It went on for about an hour and a half; on the second night they finished in about 20 minutes. I've traveled a lot and averaged about 50 nights a year with Marriott since 2016. This was without a doubt my worst experience. The owners need to hold the contractors accountable for the shoddy remodel, and management owns the cleanliness reports. They should personally inspect rooms on a schedule to make sure housekeeping meets the standard.

The location was a plus, beside a bunch of restaurants and stores and pretty close to the on-ramp. The front desk staff were probably the best part. Destiny was nice and chill, and the woman working the day before was cool too. The breakfast area and little store were small, but I didn't use either. The room was dirty: hair on the floor, tables, and counters, candy corn behind the door, trash under the sofa, a shoe print on the dining table, and stains on the glassware and counters. The bed covers had stains, so we removed the stained one and used the rest. In the morning there were blood stains, though neither of us was bleeding, so the only thing I could think was bugs. Gross. The elevator was awful, with hair clumps on the floor and stains on its outdated, 80s disco-ball-looking interior. There were three bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but only the shampoo had anything in it. The showerhead wasn't installed properly: when I tried to change the angle, the whole thing moved, which worried me. The toilet paper wasn't great, so bring your own and baby wipes if you care about that. Housekeeping kept knocking while we were sleeping, even though we said we were in the room and didn't need service yet before checkout. That was upsetting. Also, the broken flag should've warned me about the room, lol. Would I come back? Definitely not. I wanted to try a new hotel and it was a fail :(

The room was spotless, roomy, and comfortable otherwise, with well placed outlets and enough surfaces that I didn't have to play suitcase Jenga. Sleep was the problem. I'm a side sleeper, and the pillows were so overstuffed and puffy, with hardly any give, that they pushed my head up at an uncomfortable angle instead of supporting my neck. My fiancé usually snores only mildly and occasionally, but with these pillows it became much louder and more frequent. After a restless night, I used a folded towel as a pillow, which felt more like camping. I asked the front desk for a flatter one. The staff member was kind and empathetic, but no pillow ever came upstairs. The A/C in my room was shockingly loud when it kicked on, waking me repeatedly. It seemed like the unit might be in the storage closet, so every cooling cycle felt like a surprise alarm. Since I was mainly there to sleep, the pillows and A/C noise really affected my stay. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring your own pillow and maybe earplugs.

We weren't told at check-in that renovations were underway, and the pool was closed and nonfunctional. In the room, we found dirty sheets, leftovers in the refrigerator, and illegal drugs, ecstasy, that a child discovered and first mistook for candy. That's a serious safety issue and completely inexcusable. The front desk staff seemed genuinely shocked and handled it appropriately in the moment, but the General Manager never contacted us, during the stay or in the week afterward, despite repeated promises to reach out. The lack of follow-up was alarming. At breakfast, my child also drank expired milk. The date clearly said December 9, and we were there on December 14, but the staff member responsible for the food tried to dispute it. We received no room service or housekeeping for three nights. There was a lack of care, accountability, and adherence to Marriott standards throughout. I've stayed at many brands and never encountered such negligence and indifference. The property needs new management, not just renovations. No hotel should leave drugs in a room where a child can find them, then have management fail to address it directly. I don't recommend staying until significant changes are made.
