Morning Star Bed & Breakfast of Corrales

We had our choice of places to unwind with a book, including the living room, library, and patio. On pleasant mornings, breakfast is served outside. Guests can use the kitchen, microwave, and guest refrigerator, and there are mugs and wine glasses. John often leaves homemade muffins or cookies on the counter. Another lovely perk was being greeted by Fifi and Mia, the two sweet dogs. We spent a week at Morning Star in mid June, our second visit, and now plan to stay here whenever we're in the Albuquerque NM area. It feels like home away from home. Carrol and John are the most personable and helpful hosts we’ve had, and John’s creative breakfasts are delicious. Our room looked out over the lovely pool, and the property has lots of trees and feels private. We highly recommend Morning Star Bed and Breakfast. We left with that warm, fuzzy feeling, and had a wonderful experience.

Waking up to balloons firing up and drifting overhead during the fiesta is something I’ll always remember. The location was a big plus for our stay, and John and Carrol are such sweet people with a lovely B&B. The coffee and tea bar stayed stocked, and we looked forward to delicious breakfast each morning. I’d happily recommend staying here any time of year.

The adobe home is quiet and feels secluded, while still giving easy access to Corrales amenities and the restaurants and shops at nearby Cottonwood. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. John and Carrol clearly take pride in their B&B and enjoy sharing it with guests. We’ve just finished our visit and really enjoyed our stay. It makes you wonder why you’d choose a hotel when a place like this is available. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

We rented the whole house for our family to finish a week in New Mexico, and were very happy with the care we received. Carol and John are kind, welcoming hosts who made us feel at home. John cooked delicious breakfasts, and Carol shared helpful ideas for places to visit. The house is beautifully decorated, and the grounds make for a peaceful escape. There was an unavoidable problem with the pool filter, but John worked hard on the repair, and we still got to enjoy the backyard for a while. When half our group had later flights, Carol kindly let us check out late. The thought and care put into this inn really shows. I can’t recommend Morning Star enough.
