Best Western Executive Inn

I’m especially grateful to have my favorite sweater and shirt back. I left some hanging clothes behind and didn’t realize for about three weeks. When I called, Katelin checked lost and found, and they still had them. The hotel keeps found items for 30 days, which I really appreciated. We picked the clothes up on our next trip to MDA and stayed there again instead of arranging a shipping label. Both times, the front desk staff were friendly and attentive to what we needed. They also suggested some good local restaurants. The beds were comfortable, and though the hotel is older, it’s well maintained.

The hostess was warm, accommodating, and really understood our situation. I can’t remember the last time I met someone so kind. My heartfelt thanks for making our stay so special.

The guest laundry was no help when I needed to wash clothes after getting held over an extra day for work. They have machines, but no change machine, no way to pay by card or charge it to the room, and no hotel laundry service. Unless you have $5 in quarters, you’re out of luck. I wound up driving to Walmart for another set of clothes. The breakfast was the same every day: fake scrambled eggs, greasy “sausage” patties, and a make-your-own waffle station that was never cleaned. It’s okay for hotel food, but after four days it got old. The hotel itself is decent for the money.

Tiffany, the breakfast attendant, was awesome, and the breakfast area was really clean. I’ve stayed here three times this year, though, and the food hasn’t changed. I’d like more variety, especially bagels and ham.
