Columbia River Inn

The sauna was just what I needed to warm up and relax after a cold day outside. The Columbia River Inn in Coulee City has a cozy, homey feel, and the rooms were clean. It’s very welcoming to dogs and has what a traveler or hunter needs. Laundry costs $1.50 for each wash and $1.50 to dry, so bring your own detergent and three dollars. A comfy, no-frills place with friendly vibes.

I pulled off the road when I got tired during a road trip, and they were kind and accommodating. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. It cost more than I expected, though, there aren't any good restaurants within walking distance, and it looks like you'd have to use stairs to reach every room.

The staff were courteous, respectful, and really helpful. Borrowing a couple of board games for my best friend and me was easy, too. I also liked the cabin-in-the-woods feel of the decor, especially the chair fabric. My single room had a queen bed, was ready at check-in, and was spotless. The bed was soft, and I slept like a rock both nights. The location and view were amazing, with a great look at the dam. The pool, hot tub, and sauna looked well maintained. I had a great time at Columbia River Inn this past weekend and will stay again next time I'm in the area.

I hadn't planned to stay nearby, but spotted this little gem while driving past and decided to stop. That was definitely the right call. My room was charming and cozy, and the little decks overlooking the dam were perfect. The front desk folks were great, from the guy who checked me in that afternoon to the lovely mother-daughter duo in the morning. I got to enjoy all the amenities: spa, pool, sauna, gym, and laundry. The place is so quaint I could've stayed for days, and the dam laser show was super cool. Not one complaint. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I'll absolutely be back!
