The owners were nice, though about $120 for one Tuesday night felt a little steep for what you get, even with costs being up these days. The room was clean, cute and compact. The fridge is so small it won't fit a medium Domino's pizza, so don't count on keeping leftovers. The walls and ceiling are thin, and you can hear other guests moving around, especially heavy footsteps. The bed worked fine for me, but the pillows were thin. Still, for cleanliness, this place beats the Quality Inn at Waynesboro va.

The owner was the only staff member I met, and he was friendly and helpful. This is an older motel, but for such an affordable room it was surprisingly clean and well kept. Everything worked, the beds were comfortable, and the area was convenient, with places either a short walk or a 20-minute drive away. Smoking rooms are available upstairs if you ask. I'd give it 10/10 and come back.

Our car broke down outside the city, leaving us with nowhere to stay while it was being repaired. The owners took us in and treated us with such kindness, like we were part of their family, when we were down on our luck. If you need a place in the area, we highly recommend them. You'll be looked after.

At least there weren't bugs inside, but there were cobwebs everywhere outside. Towels were sparse and stained, the floor didn't feel clean, and the beds weren't comfortable, with only a sheet and cover. The AC worked well. For a weekend price, there were other details that made the stay less than ideal, and the place just didn't feel good. It needs some love, which wouldn't cost much. I've been a business owner myself. I've seen family-run motels cut corners, and the families don't always have good business practices.
