Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter

The location is perfect, the staff were very polite, and the food was delicious, though expensive. It's even pricier if you have to drive away to eat. The pool was nice for swimming laps, but it's only three feet deep and often full of children. It has no markings on the bottom, so wear clear goggles, not shaded ones. I counted about 17 to 19 strokes across; I'd guess it's around 50 m, maybe a little less. The rooms are a little small, and the parking only fits certain cars. The machine always says “ticket jammed.” There's nowhere in the bathroom to hang keys or anything, the toilet seats are wobbly, and the water pressure is weak. There's no smoking area or balcony, and the laundry room needs cleaning. It took two days for the other lady to come in and change my bed, and I tipped her. The elevator buttons aren't sanitized, and the luggage racks need a thorough cleaning. There's no sink in the laundry room for washing hands, so bring wipes. Staff are friendly, and the food is heavenly!

Aisha and the other front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and AGM Jackson went out of his way to fix a booking mistake on our end. This was our first visit to the Cincinnati area, and we'd gladly stay here again. The hotel is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with convenient parking. Our quiet, clean, comfortable room had gorgeous views of the bridge and river. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops and bookstores are all close by in a very walkable area.

We celebrated my birthday weekend here and arrived to a thoughtful gift bag and a card customized and signed by the staff. Such a nice touch! The front desk service was amazing, the Cincinnati skyline views were unparalleled, and the location was perfect. Even room service was good, lol. We loved our stay and will be back next year!

The rooms were okay, and the women at reception were friendly. Breakfast was a mess, though. The waitresses ignored me and never asked if I wanted a drink. This was my second stay, and the house alarm went off both times. On this visit it sounded twice, once at midnight and again at 3 a.m. I'd avoid the place if you can.
