Bayview Inn

Great location beside Ocean World, with a restaurant and convenience store across the street. The jetted tub was fabulous, and the hotel was very clean, if a little dated. They called it a sea view, which is technically true, but the view wasn't what you'd expect. A few repairs are needed, though nothing major. The walls are extremely thin, and we could hear the couple next door. There's no elevator to the second or third floors.

The staff were helpful and polite, and even mailed my AirPods back after I left them in the room. Our room had a lovely beach view, and we could walk to the beach and a couple of other places in town we wanted to see. The layout was comfortable, the room was clean, and check-in was easy. My family and I really enjoyed our stay during our coastal vacation last year. We'll definitely come back next time we're passing through.

The front desk folks were super friendly, even sweet, and the cleaning staff greeted me with big smiles early in the morning. We had a balcony and sliding door, and the view was fine. It's an easy walk to the marina and sea lions. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and nicely put together, with half hard flooring and half clean carpet. The TV had lots of movie channels. The big jacuzzi was fantastic, with excellent water pressure, though the jets were pretty weak. They also have a new cappuccino machine that makes all kinds of delicious coffee drinks. Everything was lovely, especially for the price. Thank you, Bayview Inn!

The tub was great, and when we called downstairs for a plug, someone brought one up quickly and was very nice. The room was okay inside, though dated, as were the outside and corridors. But the King Jacuzzi suite bed was so hard that my husband and I woke with sore backs and not nearly enough sleep. The old, hard pillows didn't help either. I think they'll need to remodel and update the bedding to stay relevant. Until they fix the bedding at least, I wouldn't return.
