Purple Mountain Bed & Breakfast

Chris’s breakfasts were fantastic, and he was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, outdoor activities, and more. The care he puts into every detail really stands out. Thanks to Chris and Purple Mountain, our first trip to Crested Butte was perfect. The location, room, bed, and shower were all the best. We can’t wait to go back again and again.

Chris made our trip easy and fun with great hike suggestions, including specific routes, and tips on the best places to eat in town. He was friendly, thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable, just an amazing host. Breakfast was wonderful every morning, and he handled my gluten-free diet seamlessly. The convenient location was a plus, and the house itself was charming and cozy. We had a big balcony and a super comfortable bed and sheets. There’s a fridge and microwave on the second floor, which we used. I always looked forward to the hot chocolate bar in the evening, and the beer tasting was a fun way to get to know the other guests and owner. We also took several rides on the B&B bikes. We’d love to stay here again.

Such a welcoming, homey b&b with really nice hosts. The food was 10/10, and I loved that they had foam rollers in the little yoga room. Great energy all around.

Chris and his staff were so helpful with local hiking recommendations, and the breakfasts were incredible. One of my favorite parts was waking up to freshly brewed coffee every morning. The rooms were spotless and quiet, and we made lots of friends among the other guests. My friend and I loved our first stay at the Purple Mountain Inn a few weeks ago during the Wild Flower Festival. The hot chocolate bar, daily happy hour, free bikes, comforting snacks, hot tub, cozy lobby music, and all the other thoughtful touches have made this my favorite place to stay in CB. I can’t wait to come back, and thanks again!
