Cripple Creek Hospitality House

Rachel helped me plan my time in CC and was especially thoughtful about guiding me as a solo traveler. The hotel is gorgeous, almost like a museum, and I found a couple of very affordable treasures in the gift shop on-site. Breakfast was delicious, too. The chef at Doc's even brought it to the front desk so I didn't have to head out in the cold. I'd highly recommend it as a safe, clean getaway for a woman traveling alone.

Joanne was the best part of our visit. She's such a sweetheart, incredibly kind, and has a genuine warmth in the way she speaks to and cares for people. The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and inside, the layout gives an incredible, authentic sense of its history as a hospital. People might not think of staying in an old former hospital, but don't overlook it. The unique history and wonderful hospitality make this a must-stay.

We stayed at CCHH for a family event, and may have taken over the place a bit. The building is gorgeous, and you can see the care and thought that went into restoring its features while keeping its historic charm and updating things. Owners and staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was wonderful every morning, and I especially enjoyed spending afternoons on the sun porch watching deer move through the fields.

Joanne took wonderful care of us during our three lovely nights here. The breakfast was great, and both our room and the rest of the property were extremely clean. We loved the antiques throughout, and it was so quiet and relaxing. We'll definitely be back.
