Mike goes out of his way for guests, including making a freshly cooked breakfast whenever you want one. The coffee was really good, too. Our suite had plenty of room and made for a relaxing stay. It was quiet and comfortable, and Mike’s place is extremely pet friendly. He’s a fabulous host.

Mike clearly cares about how guests enjoy their stay, and breakfast was delicious. If you have time, listen to some of Mikes stories; there’s so much history. This beautiful B&B is in a quaint mountain town, with lots of shops and places to eat within a 5 min walk. It’s located 7 minutes from the ski resort and disc golf course. I’ll definitely recommend it and return!

Breakfast was wonderful each morning, and the hot tub was just the right temperature. Mike helped me use his grill and had peroxide ready when I needed some. He was attentive without getting in my space, and my dog was welcome at no extra charge. He’s an awesome host. I’d definitely stay again and recommend the place to anyone.

We arrived at 7pm to find the property looking closed and dark, though thankfully the lobby door was open. We’d booked that morning on Priceline for the same night, 10/6, but were told they hadn’t checked reservations that day and didn’t know we were coming. Mike was sweet and apologetic, but couldn’t confirm the booking. He did get us into a room, though the bed had to be made in front of us, which was unusual. In the rush, we forgot to ask about the hot tub and WiFi, and weren’t given information about either. Mike seems well intentioned, but the place could use a lot of help and some deserved TLC. The room needed a deep clean and fresh paint. It felt dusty and dirty, the carpet had multiple stains, the TV was comically small and half broken, though it worked, and the walls had lots of nicks and dents. The ceiling looked water damaged and poorly patched. The old, thin mattress squeaked and was very uncomfortable. We also couldn’t lock the door connecting to an adjoining room, so we had to lock that room’s hallway door to secure ours. All told, it was a very disappointing stay for $135 including tax and other charges. Given the room’s quality and cleanliness, I’d expect to pay more in the $65-$80 range. We’d been optimistic because the property had such high ratings.
