Quality Inn Cullman

A quiet, comfortable place, and the rooms are always clean and tidy. The owners are amazing. I absolutely adore this hotel and will be back!

The room felt unfinished, as if someone had started an upgrade and stopped halfway. The crown molding wasn't done and the shower walls were incomplete. We booked a king room, but there was also a made-up blow-up mattress in it, which was weird. The carpet was grimy, and there was a funk under the AC. The washcloths were paper thin, the sheets were stained, and there was less than half a roll of toilet paper. When my husband went to the office for more, he saw a man asleep in his car right outside our door. He was still there at 5am when my husband went to load the car. The freezer was covered in ice, and the TV had no guide, so it was hard to tell what was on when you're from out of town. At check-in, the woman could've been nicer. She had no personality at all. We usually stay at Choice hotels when we travel, so we were surprised their corporate office lets this place operate in this condition. We were disappointed. I could go on and on.

There was blood? on the floor, mold on the bathroom ceiling, and holes kicked into the bathroom door. The room door latch was broken and the door barely stayed shut, so I pushed the heavy sitting chair in front of it to feel safe for the night. We would've gone somewhere else, but there was nowhere else.

We found a brown recluse crawling on the ceiling above the bed before going to sleep. The door lock was broken, and there was mold above the bathroom. We left early because we didn't feel safe, but they wouldn't refund the money.
