The Oasis Extended Stay

The rooms are big, clean, and great, and the place feels beautiful, cozy, and comfy. Abby and CJ were so nice, and so was Dee. I loved the TV room and kitchen area, and how they do the laundry and fold it. There's also a bar within walking distance. I'd recommend this place to anybody in the Cushing area. 💯🥰🌹

On June 14, 2024, the final day of my two-week stay, I believe the housekeeper went through my zipped-up backpack and took a bottle of prescription pain medication. I left my belongings in my locked room briefly, thinking they were safe. Usually I take that backpack to work with me, but that day I trusted them. There was no "do not disturb" sign for the room. That day the housekeeper only replaced the bathroom towels and the trash bag near the door. My backpack was in the back right corner, behind the bed, nowhere near where she needed to be to do those tasks. She didn't make the bed, so I don't see why she would have been near it. The only other people with access to the room were the housekeeper and management. I filed a police report. The housekeeper denied taking it, and I understand she would deny it. When I reported the theft to the manager or owner, she showed no empathy and only asked whether I'd left it on the table by the door. She said the housekeeper had worked there about a year without any issues. I understand this was an employee, and I'm not writing to harm anyone's livelihood or business. I want future guests to know about the theft I experienced.

Update, June 2023: My mom still stays here on her visits to Cushing to see her husband, and she continues to have nothing but good things to say. Thank you again for making her feel at home every time. You're appreciated! When she first stayed, she was impressed from her initial call to ask about rates through check-in. Everyone was polite and professional, and the atmosphere felt cozy and homey. She'll be back once a month.

Since our company came to Cushing, Oklahoma, I've really enjoyed myself and gotten along with everyone working here. They are polite and respectful, and their service is top 10. The rooms were always clean, the meals were good, and I never had any problems. Everything was on time, and I hope our company can come back here again.
