Super 8 Custer/Crazy Horse Area

Julia was wonderful when our truck battery died on the morning we were leaving. She called around on a Sunday trying to help us find assistance, and we were grateful for how kind she was during a stressful moment. The cleaning lady was also smiling and gracious when I returned our used towels. She works hard, so y’all remember to tip! The rooms were spotless and exceptionally well appointed for a Super 8, with fresh, crisp sheets and a pillow-top mattress I could get used to. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my husband’s mobility needs. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool, but walked by and saw the tub was good and hot and the pool was clean and nicely heated. Breakfast was exemplary. This was one of our best stays for service and amenities, a real bargain for the price, and I’d happily stay at this delightful, refreshing motel again. Thanks, y’all!

Custer is a beautiful little town. The beds were comfortable, the water was warm, and breakfast was delicious.

We could all stay together in the suite, which had four beds and a pullout couch and worked well for our family of seven. The hotel is on the west edge of town, though still within walking distance. Breakfast got a bit crowded because the seats are so close to the counter, but the area was clean and kept stocked.

I left feeling scammed. Reception wouldn't properly answer my questions or correct their own mistakes, even when there was a significant issue. The staff seemed to do only enough to hand me a room and avoid getting fired. The hotel might sound good in theory, but the reception staff ruined the experience for me. I wouldn't go unless you want to be disappointed, and I think they need to be fired.
