Best Western Buffalo Ridge Inn

The pool was great, breakfast was far better than usual, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. But our room wasn’t great: the bed was very uncomfortable, and the sofa sleeper was broken and uncomfortable too. We were booked for three nonrefundable nights, otherwise we would’ve left. I didn’t ask to switch rooms, and maybe another one would have been much better. I don’t plan on coming back.

We liked it enough after our first night that we decided to stay another, even though we hadn’t known much about the property when we booked. For a budget motel, it was a very pleasing stay. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. Hot water came plentifully, and the toilets flushed, which is really all you need. There was also a hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, plus a convenient spot for reaching major attractions. This place has it all!

After driving back from Colorado, we arrived around 12:30 for a late overnight stop. The front desk staff were great and had us checked into our rooms by 12:35. The rooms were big, very clean, and had plenty of room for luggage. Breakfast was hot and tasty, and there was outdoor seating too. The location worked well for us. A great choice if you need somewhere to stay.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was great, with biscuits and gravy, an egg option, sausage, cereal, muffins, yogurt, and more. We could walk to two restaurants, one a divey sort of bar and the other a Mexican place; it’s a short drive or a longer walk into town. The bed was unfortunately uncomfortable. I hadn’t realized from the pictures that this was a motel, but that was on me for not checking.
