The room had a microwave and fridge, and I especially appreciated that the fridge was raised off the floor. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable, and the lobby felt welcoming. I was a little wary after reading the reviews, since the place is dated and seems to have changed owners a few times, but the owners appeared to care and had what I needed for a good night's sleep. There's no coffee maker, though a nice coffee drive-through is down the street and the gas station is an easy walk, so I didn't miss having one. I also liked the real keys and the room doors that look like front doors on a house. I'd stay here again.

The room was filthy, from a large unexplained stain on the sheet to sticky bathroom flooring with big chunks of something on it. A towel was stuffed behind the toilet, which I assume was there because it was leaking. It took about 15 minutes for the shower to get hot, and the pressure was so poor I had to hug the wall to get wet. When I switched from the tap to the showerhead, the tap came off the wall because it wasn't attached. Safety and basic upkeep were alarming too. None of our rooms had smoke alarms. The keys seemed universal: mine opened the room next door, where one of my travel companions was staying, and another person's room wouldn't lock at all. The three lamps didn't work because they weren't plugged in and there was nowhere to plug them in, so they were just decoration. There was a Keurig, but no cups or coffee for it. No one was at the front desk; staff were at the inn across the road. They said breakfast was available at the Super 8 across town, and that the Super 8 doesn't check whether you're staying there. On the way to the room, the “gift shop” looked as if it had recently been burglarized. The hallway smelled moldy, washing machines sat there with their insides pulled out, and the pool couldn't be used because its room was piled with trash. I never saw anyone in the building. This wasn't quite the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it came close. If you're choosing between this place and the Glacier Gateway Plaza, you'd get more for your money buying blankets and sleeping in your car.

The location worked well for us, right on Cut Bank's main strip, and gave us a less expensive place to stay outside Glacier park. The hotel was changing owners while we were there, so the room price had changed since we booked. I could understand that, and the owner who helped at check-in was friendly and keen to help. Everything in the room worked, and it looked clean apart from some mold on the shower curtain. The rooms are dated, and having a tissue stuffed into the peephole was strange, which brought my rating down to a 3. Breakfast is offered, though it's more of a grab-and-go setup with cereal.

I was cycling across the country when I broke a spoke, and the nearest town for a repair was Great Falls. The new motel manager kindly drove me and all my gear to a bicycle shop. He was eager to help, and the motel was clean and very comfortable. It was so nice to meet such great people. Thank you!

The new management went out of their way to make us comfortable and at home, and we couldn't have asked for better treatment. The rooms were clean, the service excellent, and the location in Cut Bank, MT was perfect. We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at a very reasonable price. They've convinced us this is a top place to stay in Northcentral Montana, and we'll definitely come back.
