Lily Creek Lodge

We had a spacious, clean room in a quiet setting, and everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. We left something behind, and they even shipped it back to us. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

For $224 a night, the stay didn't feel worth the price. We arrived around 6:30pm after dark, and the unlit sign was easy to miss. The room's look was underwhelming, with some renovations done in poor taste. The heat was the main problem. It was so hot I felt like I was choking, and the two tower fans in the room weren't enough. We were awake much of the night from the heat. My husband wanted to open a window, but I advised him not to. The bathroom was the nicest part of the room. Some ceilings are low, and my 6ft husband bumped his head at least six times. We were in room #3. This may not be everyone's experience, so try it and see for yourself.

Kellie, the innkeeper, made our stay special. She was a delightful host and went out of her way for us, even lighting a fire in the gorgeous fireplace on the cold nights. The lodge is in a beautiful setting, close to everything, including Dahlonega's quaint square full of shops and restaurants. We came so my husband could trail run ahead of his upcoming ultra marathon. Our room was a little run down, but the bathroom had been beautifully updated and the bed was super comfortable. The only downside was the fog inside the windows, which blocked the lovely views and scenery around the lodge. Those really should be fixed. Thanks, Lily Creek Lodge and Kellie. The property is beautiful and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay, and it was very convenient to the wedding venue. Kellie, the innkeeper, was kind and helpful, and I enjoyed talking with her. The rooms were clean and cozy. I liked that there aren't TVs in the rooms, though it's nice that you can rent different kinds of media if you want them. It's clear Lily Creek Lodge is managed with a lot of love and care. I'd love to stay here again.
