The staff I met were lovely and helpful, so my complaints are really about how the hotel is run. For about $300 a night, I expected a more comfortable stay. I travel for work and have Hilton and Marriott accounts, so I have a good sense of what that price should get you. I was there for a wedding and left disappointed. In room #300, there was just 1 coffee pod for three adults until I asked the front desk for more. The bathroom barn door was loud and kept slipping off its track, and the toilet seat did too. Wallpaper was peeling at the seams in my room and another family member's room. The to-go goodie bag wasn't ready for guests the morning after the wedding. I didn't really want it, since I was a bit too hungover, but it still seemed poorly planned.
The hotel itself was very clean, and the bridal suite was spacious. The younger blonde bartender working on 4/24/26 was especially sweet and did an amazing job handling several wedding groups at once. The wedding block was a different story. Since I booked well ahead, I contacted the hotel several times to confirm details, but never got a reply. Calling didn't help much either because the staff weren't familiar with hotel blocks and could only do so much. I asked beforehand if our room could be refreshed during the wedding so my husband and I could return to clean sheets and towels. They said right away they'd take care of it, but it never happened. I was also charged for my suite on the wedding night. I eventually got the charge refunded, but only after emailing 4-5 different people to get someone to respond. Offering wedding blocks means communication and follow-through matter, and this added unnecessary stress. I wouldn't stay again.
The elevators were another problem, making it hard to get our luggage upstairs. My digital key also wouldn't unlock the doors or let me use the elevator. I told the front desk, but nothing was fixed. The outlets and USB ports in the room didn't work either, and staff were notified. There was a leak at the shower head, but after miscommunication about it, nobody came to repair it. The light fixture was so low and close to the bed that my 6 ft tall son kept hitting his head on it. It was poorly designed. I was there over the weekend for my daughter's engagement party, staying with family in separate rooms. I hadn't realized breakfast had to be purchased when booking. I was charged $123 for my breakfast, while the family member in another room had prepaid. The front desk person was dismissive when I questioned it and said all Hiltons charge for breakfast. I explained I'm a member and have stayed at Hiltons in several states and locations, where breakfast had always been included and I hadn't needed to prepay. They said they'd check with the Sunday morning manager and give me extra points for the trouble, but that didn't happen. The charges were only sorted out at checkout, when I was told the money would be refunded. This was probably one of the worst Hiltons I've stayed at. I was told it was a fairly new Hilton in the area and had many good reviews, but when I looked at reviews from the last 6 to 8 months, I saw similar complaints. I'll stay at a different Hilton next time I'm in the area. This experience won't put me off Hilton in general, but I wouldn't recommend this one.
The only thing that kept this from being a 5 for me was the lack of evening food service. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the lobby is comfortable. The fitness center is huge compared with other hotels.
I've stayed here every fall for the past 4 years while traveling to this area for work, and the location has always been handy, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a Whole Foods. But this time I couldn't shower. The water was scalding hot, and I had to get out and rinse my head in the sink. Even the cold tap ran scalding hot. I told the front desk, but nobody followed up and the problem wasn't fixed. From the reviews here, it looks like this has been an ongoing issue. I hate to say it, but I won't stay here again. Not being able to shower just isn't reasonable.
